This test is for professional in-vitro diagnostic use and is to be used for qualitative detection of CRP in whole blood samples only.
This test indicates the presence of CRP in a whole blood sample only and shall not be used as the sole criterion for the diagnosis of inflammatory conditions.
This test cannot detect less than 10 μg/mL of CRP in the sample.
High concentrations of CRP may produce a dose hook effect resulting in incorrect interpretation of CRP levels. However, such hook effect has not been observed for CRP concentrations up to 2 mg/mL.
