Rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of D-Dimer in human whole blood and plasma samples as an aid in diagnosis of Disseminated Intravascular Coagopathy (DIC), deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
This test is for professional in-vitro diagnostic use and is to be used for qualitative detection of D-Dimer in whole blood samples only. No quantitative result or rate of increase in D-Dimer concentration can be determined with this test. This test indicates the presence of D-Dimer in the sample only and shall not be used as the sole criterion for the diagnosis of Disseminated Intravascular Coagopathy (DIC), deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
This test cannot detect less than 500 ng/ml of D-Dimer in the sample.
