This test is for professional in vitro diagnostic use and is to be used for qualitative detection of H. pylori antigen only. No quantitative result or rate of increase in H. pylori antigen concentration can be determined with this test.
This test will only detect the presence of H. pylori antigen in the stool sample and is not to be used as the sole criterion to confirm H. pylori antigen to be etiological agent of peptic or duodenal ulcer.
As for all diagnostic tests the test result must be interpreted by the physician together with all other clinical information available. A negative test result does not exclude the possibility of H. pylori
infection with a low concentration. If clinical symptoms persist, additional testing using other clinical methods is recommended.
